Primary Purpose:
Ensure loans are worked in the time period required by federal regulations and serve as a backup to the Central Doc Prep functions.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Review daily reports which include RESPA, Intent to Proceed, and Appraisal Reports.
Some knowledge of loans and regulations timing of disclosures that must be generated timely and able to communicate with lending staff effectively.
Work all returned mail for Loan Operations
Print and mail all adverse notices generated through the Loan Origination System
Review Preliminary Disclosure packages and Flood Notices prepared by Central Doc Prep and Flood Department to be packaged and mailed
Maintain knowledge of applicable Federal Regulations and assist in the implementation of corporate compliance with current regulations, changes in regulations, and the addition of new regulations
Able to research regulatory questions that occur outside of the normal realm of day to day loan transactions
Bridge relationship between lending staff, regional loan coordinators, compliance staff, and central loan operations to achieve consensus on issue resolution
Understand practical application of Cadence Bank lending policies and procedures
Provide back-up assistance for Central Doc Prep functions as needed
Job Specifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
One - Two years of loan preparation and processing experience
Good computer skills (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel or equivalent)
Ability to get along with coworkers
Close attention to detail and good organizational and communication skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines
