JOB SUMMARY:
The Business Services Administrator supports MaxxSouth’s bulk/business sales efforts by assisting the division with all aspects of order entry & processing, customer service, contract management and multiple administrative tasks essential to the department.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Provide daily assistance to bulk/business sales force in working with Property Management/Owners and MDU/Bulk accounts
Build relationships with Property Management/Owners and keep property contact information up to date
Provide daily assistance to Property Management and/or tenants in solving issues with new equipment, lost equipment,
billing, technical issues, payments and credits.
This will involve phone calls, emails and texts
Receive, enter and schedule orders from the bulk/business sales force and perform validation check
Communicate with customers as needed during the service delivery interval to keep them apprised of any schedule or service impacting information
Utilize appropriate systems to monitor order progress and identify any issues that would prevent service from being installed as scheduled
Reschedule installation appointments with customers, as necessary
Provide assistance with bulk/business contracts and renewals
Keep bulk/business spreadsheets updated on public folders including contact information, units, internet speeds and
equipment totals
Provide assistance in new bulk/business projects
Communicate and cooperate with billing analysts, supervisors, warehouse, technical support, front counter and Call teams to accomplish needed tasks
Compose correspondence, analysis, reports, presentations and documentation as requested
Provide backup to other staff members with reports and other tasks as needed
Escalate to upper level management as necessary to resolve issues
All other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:
High school diploma, G.
E.
D.
or equivalent combination of training and/or experience required.
Cable TV/Broadband
industry knowledge or experience, a plus
Knowledge of CSG/ACSR billing system is required
Excellent written and verbal communications, organizational and people relations skills
Professional attitude in dealing with customers and Property Management
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Office, Excel, etc.
)
Other Requirements:
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record that meets Company standards at all times;
Background record that meets Company standards including pre-employment drug screen;
Reliable means of transportation at all times;
Present professional appearance and demeanor;
Strictly maintains confidentiality of financial and/or other information acquired in the course of work; discloses only when authorized, unless legally obligated to do so.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Walking, kneeling, standing, stooping, sitting, driving, hearing, talking, vision (close, distant, color, depth perception, adjust focus), and use of hands and fingers.
Light lifting of 30 lbs.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
The Business Services Administrator is a full time, non-exempt position.
If overtime is required, it must be approved in advance by the supervisor.
The Business Services Administrator works in an automated business office environment with business office equipment including telephones, personal computers, and copy machines.
