*Reports To:* Director of EMS
*Job Summary*
We're searching for an Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) ready to offer top-notch patient care in pre-hospital and emergency settings.
You'll be following all guidelines and regulations set by the State of Tennessee Emergency Medical Services Commission, offering first aid and ongoing care from the scene to the medical facility.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Emergency Response: Act swiftly to provide emergency medical care, including first aid and CPR, in accordance with AHA standards.
* Communication: Operate EMS communication equipment professionally, adhering to protocols and procedures while recording all essential information.
* Pre-Hospital Duties: Perform all roles in line with state EMS regulations and under the direction of our departmental medical director.
* Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily checks and clean both the inside and outside of your assigned unit daily.
* Patient Care: Foster a safe environment for all patients and maintain confidentiality.
* Administrative Tasks: Assist with clerical duties within the department and demonstrate flexibility as patient care needs change.
*Qualifications*
* Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Must have completed state-required EMT training.
* Experience: Minimum of one year of work experience as an EMT.
* License/Certification:
* Ambulance operations
* Unencumbered and safe driving record in Tennessee
* Current in Vanessa K.
Free and EVOC training
* Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS)
* Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
