Job Summary
Performs general custodial duties.
Ensures sanitation control and checks for related safety hazards.
Receives directions from supervisor.
Responsibilities
Performs general cleaning and related janitorial duties for site to include (offices, restrooms, lunchrooms, break areas.
)
Checks for safety hazards and repair needs and reports to supervisor.
Maintains supplies in designated storage areas in a neat and orderly fashion.
Cleans entrances, sidewalks, and outside grounds as required.
Insures the maintenance of proper sanitation.
Maintains accurate inventories of cleaning supplies and follows established procedures to replenish.
Operates equipment such as forklift, sweeper, scrubber, buffer, etc.
as required to perform duties.
Perform other related duties as may be required.
Qualifications
Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Must be able to read and understand labels on cleaning supplies, equipment, etc.
Must be able to physically lift, bend, stoop, climb, walk, and reach.
Some custodial experience preferred.
