Dietary Aide

Responsibilities: - Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents in a timely manner - Follow dietary restrictions and special instructions for individual residents - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas - Assist with dishwashing and cleaning of kitchen utensils, dishes, and equipment - Provide excellent customer service to residents and their families - Collaborate with the dietary department to ensure smooth operations Qualifications: - Previous experience as a dietary aide or in food preparation is preferred - Knowledge of safe food handling practices - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work well as part of a team - Understanding of dietary restrictions and ability to accommodate special diets - Experience in an assisted living or healthcare setting is a plus Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
