Shipping Material Handler

Job Description: Shipping Material Handler The Shipping Material Handler will focus on to provide material movement and logistical support to internal and external customers in support of cellular therapeutic manufacturing at the Devens campus during process transfers, routine production, and technology improvements that support manufacturing operations.
The Material Handler will report directly to the Shipping Supervisor and will work collaboratively as Customer Service & Distribution Manager.
The Shipping Material Handler must demonstrate and support IHP Core Values for Operational Excellence! Role and Responsibilities Certification in forklift operation or can pass a forklift certification.
Knowledge of operating other warehouse machinery.
Data entry, math and computer skills.
Physically fit with the ability to lift objects weighing between 50-100 pounds.
Effective leadership and team management skills.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications and Education Requirements 1-5 years of experience operating heavy equipment and working in a warehouse setting preferred.
Critical thinking Skills Physical and Environmental Requirements Prolonged periods sitting on a forklift.
Must be able to lift 25 -75 pounds at times.
Walking the plant to check parts or orders as needed daily.
Must be able to communicate using speech, sight, and sound with or without assistive device.
