Job Summary: The Asset Lead is the “Equipment Reliability” Asset Owner for the assigned assets; accountable for the overall equipment reliability, asset maintenance budget and cost performance.
Drives accountability to ensure the Asset Reliability Program process is rigorously followed.
Responsibilities
Accountability for Asset Performance/Maintenance Costs (Results)
Accountability for adherence to Asset Maintenance Program (PM compliance, PM Completion, WO completion, Backlog etc.
)
Accountable for the work executed by assigned resources, their performance management and resulting EHS performance.
Coaches and mentors assigned workforce in order to meet asset performance standards in support of the APU.
Promotes and cultivates partnering among Maintenance, Production, Quality and Technology.
Owner of gatekeeping and work executed in SAP
Responsible for supporting Reliability in refining the maintenance strategy (continuous improvement)
Support asset criticality and asset prioritization with Reliability team
Equipment performance for area of responsibility.
Including safety, Environmental, Utilization and PM compliance
Ownership of Root Cause Failure Investigation in their area of responsibility
Provides direct input to scheduling/planning of work in their area of responsibility
Responsibility for schedule compliance to outage work in their area of responsibility
Responsible for QA/QC “4 Eyes” in their area for critical work on equipment
Qualifications
High school diploma, college degree preferred
Associate Degree or Journeyman’s card in industrial trade field.
Two (2) to four (4) years’ experience utilizing leadership skills in a manufacturing maintenance environment in a supervisory capacity.
The ability to work overtime, weekends, and shift work as required
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient with Microsoft Office software e.

Aptitude for detailed work requiring a high degree of accuracy
Good communication, high level of autonomy, collaboration and interpersonal skills are equally important
Perform, understand and communicate detailed information analysis and evaluation, and have a good track record working effectively within a team-based environment
Language fluency in English.
French or German would be a plus
