What is the Job? We are seeking to add a Material Handler to our team in our Lexington Production Plant.
This role you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting finished or unfinished products, parts, equipment, and supplies throughout the entire manufacturing facility as well as input transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
Some of your core responsibilities will include: Operate a forklift to remove and transport raw material, finished material or other supplies from the designated warehouse areas, storage areas or various manufacturing departments.
Remove all material from the forklift or transportation equipment and place it into designated work area parts bin etc.
Inspect as required all incoming and outgoing items for condition, quantity, and identification.
Must operate our Material Tracking Computer System to both ship and receive products and parts.
Must be able to lift 75lbs.
Ability to learn RF scanning system to receive and transfer parts.
You May Have What It Takes for This Exciting Role… We are looking for a resourceful and responsible individual to assist in the movement of materials to support production.
The candidate we are looking for should be keen on teamwork, ability to meet deadlines, attention to detail and time management.
In addition, excellent communication and basic mathematical skills are necessary as is the need for fluency in speaking and writing English to communicate successfully with internal and external stakeholders.
Education & Experience: This position requires the following: High school graduate or equivalent required.
1–3 years experience in manufacturing environment At least 2 years forklift experience.
