Residential Painter

Responsibilities: - Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes, and repairing cracks - Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results - Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes to surfaces using brushes, rollers, or sprayers - Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect surrounding areas from paint - Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment - Follow safety guidelines and use proper protective gear while working Qualifications: - Proven experience as a painter or similar role - Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials - Ability to restore and repair surfaces - Basic carpentry skills for minor repairs and preparation work - Familiarity with fixture installation and basic construction estimating - Proficiency in airless paint spraying and blueprint reading - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Good math skills for measuring and calculating paint quantities - Ability to read schematics and understand drywall installation techniques Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.
