Rogers Group is seeking motivated, punctual, and safety-focused Asphalt Paving Equipment Operators with previous paving experience for our Construction Team in Tullahoma, TN.
Candidates for this position will need to be familiar and experienced in operating equipment for asphalt paving, such as:
Rake/Lute
Skid Steer
Backhoe
Broom
Asphalt Roller
Asphalt Screws/Screed
Paver
Asphalt Distributor/Tack Truck (CDL required)
Water Truck (CDL required)
Wages starting at $22.
00/hr.
for entry level and laborers.
Some positions require no experience and Rogers Group will train.
Higher pay for skilled operators of heavy equipment with highway construction experience.
Pay rate bonus for CDL license holders with tanker endorsement.

QUALIFICATIONS
An uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
A minimum of 1-2 years of asphalt paving experience is preferred.
Experience working with road construction in high traffic areas including some experience with MUTCD traffic control.
Must be able to regularly lift and/or move heavy objects.
Ability to work outdoors which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights used in road, site or highway construction and paving.
Ability to properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
Perform minor servicing and maintenance of equipment; refer major problems to the Supervisor.
Perform daily pre–and–post inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
Follow directions of Supervisor as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or job
Perform general labor duties when necessary, and other duties as assigned.
Willingness to work overtime and weekends, as necessary.
Valid Drivers License required.
