National is seeking a hardworking Equipment Operator to join our team in Iuka, Mississippi.
Our idea candidate must be reliable and able to operate equipment for grinding railroad ties.
Essential Functions of the Job:
Operating skid steers and front-end loaders
Loading and unloading ties in a fast-paced environment
Power tool and equipment operation
Collaboration with team members in a structured environment
Consistent and accurate work quality
Filling out daily paperwork and working independently
Wearing personal protective equipment is required
All candidates must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
Qualifications:
Able to work long hours in all weather conditions, work some Saturdays
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Completely and accurately fill out daily paperwork
Basic mechanical knowledge
Follow all Safety Programs, Policies, and Procedures
Physical Requirements: Stand, Walk, Climb, Bend, Twist, Move Throughout the Day, Use Hands in Repetitive Motions, Repeat Same Movements, walk on uneven terrain, Lift 50 pounds, and Exposed to Loud Noises.
You will be exposed to all weather elements.
