Distribution Supervisor: Become the Newest Member of Kontoor Brands Position Summary An entry-level position expected to train in all areas of the warehouse to gain a high level of understanding of operational requirements.
The position will be leading and overseeing day-to-day activities in a department while supervising associates.
This position is responsible for managing the overall distribution process to ensure products are shipped accurately and timely to meet customer needs.
The supervisor must function as a team leader, have a positive outlook, and will be expected to provide leadership to impact key initiatives.

Shift Explanation Schedule Shift may vary Monday-Sunday Essential Skills Participates and or leads in Projects that align with the strategic goals of the DC utilizing tools such as 5S, Six Sigma, etc.
Maintains, controls, and reports department metrics through staff education and accountability.

Pay Compliance (Pay Policy Implementation, coding, pay explanation) Assigns and coordinates daily workload based on facility requirements, balancing, and shipping goals.
Works as part of a team and with co-workers to ensure that operational goals of the facility are met.
Proactive and focuses on improving the safety, housekeeping, quality, cost, and productivity.
Ability to take the initiative to correct issues without direction, offer solutions to problems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have a strong sense of urgency.
Department Employee Engagement/Morale, Coaching & Developing, Policy & Procedure and Employee Life Cycle.
Executes proper training and cross training with associates to ensure flexibility to meet current and future production needs and gain efficiencies and/or minimize costs.
Provide coaching and development for direct reports including performance management.
Creates and maintains a positive work environment.
Maintains housekeeping.
Participates and may lead in health and safety committees.
Ensures employees are working in a safe environment and according to established safety procedures.
Working Conditions & Physical Demands: Must have regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
Work overtime when necessary Occasionally work alternate shifts Capable of sitting, standing, and/or walking for extended periods of time Required to work in a physical environment that is subject to temperature changes, movement of mobile and fixed equipment that require detailed hand movements and coordination, possible exposure to dust and other conditions associated with a warehouse operation Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Related Field Preferred Years of Related Work Experience: 2-5 Year This position is expected to train in key areas of the warehouse to gain a high level of understanding of all operational aspects.
