Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Plumber to join our team.
As a Journeyperson Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings.
This is a full-time position that requires expertise in plumbing techniques and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper installation of plumbing systems during new construction or renovations
- Inspect plumbing systems and identify any issues or potential problems
- Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure their efficiency and longevity
- Respond to service calls and troubleshoot plumbing issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with clients to understand their plumbing needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Valid Journeyperson Plumber license
- Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber or similar role
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience with HVAC systems is a plus
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other plumbing equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
