We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Scheduler - Capital Equipment to join our dynamic team.
As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and executing project schedules related to capital equipment acquisitions and installations.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules for capital equipment acquisitions, installations, and upgrades.
Collaborate with project stakeholders, including engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and external vendors, to understand project requirements and timelines.
• Identify resource requirements for each project phase, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
Coordinate with department managers to ensure resources are available as needed to meet project timelines.
• Anticipate potential project bottlenecks and risks.
Develop contingency plans and strategies to mitigate potential delays or issues that may arise during project execution.
• Identify opportunities to optimize project schedules, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently without compromising quality or safety.
Implement strategies to streamline processes and reduce project cycle times.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Relevant certifications in project management (e.
g.
, PMP) are a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project scheduling, preferably in capital equipment acquisition or related industries.
• Proficient in Project Management Software: Demonstrated expertise in using project scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, SAP, Primavera P6, or similar applications.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
