Lockheed Martin Enterprise Operations (EO) is actively seeking an experienced information technology (IT) professional to support the Space business area classified program areas located in the Courtland, AL, US office.
Primary job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: installing, configuring, securing, hardening, remediating, testing, troubleshooting, upgrading and decommissioning of network switches, virtual servers, physical servers, client workstations and network-attached storage equipment.
Application support to program engineers is an essential part of the day-to-day responsibilities that ensures a successful synergy between program deliverables and the underlying IT infrastructure.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the ongoing operations, maintenance and continuous improvement of multiple classified IT program environments.
This IT professional will ensure that the Space IT systems are managed, controlled and compliant with the Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and the Risk Management Framework (RMF).

Basic Qualifications: -This position requires an active DOD Secret clearance with the ability to maintain that clearance throughout the position lifecycle -This position requires a current DoD 8570.
01-M IAT Level II certification with the ability to maintain that certification throughout the position lifecycle -Systems Administration experience supporting United States Government classified environments -Deep experience administering Microsoft’s Windows Server & Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration, operating system functions, security policies and technical security safeguards -VMware administration experience (VSphere vCenter, ESXi, KVM) -Demonstrated experience with Cisco switching technology -Experience designing and engineering IT infrastructures from the ground up -Experience with audits of key IT components to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines -Proven experience developing and documenting standard operating procedures and infrastructure diagrams -Ability to move, rack, stack and install physical equipment by lifting up to 25 lbs.
Desired Skills: -Bachelor's of Science degree from accredited University -Ability to make independent judgment and sound decisions when providing IT systems support, collaboration, and guidance to end users and program leaders -Experience in applying DISA STIGs and resolving security vulnerabilities -Experience with PowerShell scripting -Strong understanding of the OSI model -Fundamental understanding of authentication mechanisms such as Kerberos, LDAP and NTLM and use of necessary tools to troubleshoot them -Understanding of technology areas such as Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy and WSUS -Knowledge of various protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, SMTP, NFS, FTP, Telnet and SSH protocols -Experience with RHEL 6, 7 and/or 8 administration, configuration, security and troubleshooting -Experience with Windows Servers 2012R2/2016/2019 -Installation and configuration experience of Microsoft Windows 10 workstations and peripherals -Experience with network-attached storage or storage area networks -Experience with user account management, administration and access controls -Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) Windows Server 2016 certification -Red Hat Certified System Administrator certification equivalent or higher -VMware Certified Professional certification -Strong customer focus, with the ability to manage customer needs and multiple work priorities -Interface directly with parallel teams when necessary -Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills -Strong technical troubleshooting Skills -Knowledge of software-defined networks -Experience with High Performance Compute (HPC) systems -Understanding of Certificate Authorities (CA) and Public Key Infrastructure -Knowledge of ICD-503 compliance Security Clearance Statement:This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
