This position directly supports the production of cables and harnesses used in the building of satellites, missiles and other critical Defense Programs.
As a Quality Engineer, the candidate will provide support to the Courtland Receiving Inspection Key responsibilities include: • Assigning Receiving Inspection Plans per part commodity and Program • Ensuring product compliance through accurate flow down of Program/Customer requirements • Ensuring non-conformance's are accurately controlled, documented and dispositioned • Trending Quality metrics and performing/leading root cause analysis and corrective action • Helping resolve technical issues and communicating them back to the program and or Customer • Helping drive process improvements and cost savings utilizing a continuous improvement mentality We are seeking an energized individual who is passionate about building the space technologies of tomorrow.

com/working-here#benefits Basic Qualifications: • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in an engineering or related discipline • Project management skills including building proposals, cost/schedule tracking and resource planning • Basic understanding of Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing and how they interact in a production lifecycle • Understanding of problems solving tools and methodologies • Willing to travel +/- 50% • Ability to obtain an active Secret Security Clearance • Must be a US Citizen Desired Skills: - CQE (certified quality engineer) - Lean Manufacturing experience (Green Belt/Black Belt Certification) - Previous experience as an Material Review Board team member (MRB) - Cable and harness manufacturing experience - Program start up/development experience - Experience working within a AS9100 certified quality system - Experience running/managing projects that require cross functional support - Audit experience Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
