Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s Assembly Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Engineer – Maintenance
The primary responsibility of this role is to lead and manage the implementation of projects, track and manage KPI, and support continuous improvement of the Assembly department.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the person in this role will support the Assembly Department’s Hoshin objective.
What you’ll be doing
Track and Manage KPIs, Develop and Implement Safety and Ergonomic Improvements for mass production and model changes, track and evaluate problems, and quickly countermeasure, process kaizens, and workflow improvements.
Lead, manage, and implement process improvements and lead automation projects.
Lead and develop strategies for training, automation, and budgeting each Fiscal Year
Lead and manage automation activities for the maintenance group including but not limited to safety, quality, productivity, and cost for the project.
What you bring
4 Year Engineering/Technology Degree or 4+ years of equivalent Assembly Maintenance experience
Highly Motivated Self Driven Learner
Self-Led Activities
Toyopuc, Allen Bradley, Safety PLC Programming, AVI, PIS, TVECS, AutoCad, Powerpoint, and Excel among others
Added bonus if you have
Coordination with multiple departments, Safety, Quality, Accounting and Finance, Production and Engineering among others
Coordination with shops on change point controls.
