Safety Forklift Trainer

*Certified Trainer:* We are looking for Certified Power Industrial Trucks Trainer to join our Hero Logistics team! The Power Industrial Truck trainer will be responsible for maintaining compliance with OSHA 1910.

This position will be an hourly and Full-Time position.
The trainer will be expected to complete the following duties and responsibilities as well as be able to support operations if needed on occasion.
*Requirements:* * Must have previous experience as a Power Industrial Truck trainer or skilled equipment (Preferably 2-5 years).
* Must have good work history * Must have a high school diploma.
* Must have reliable transportation.
* Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills.
* Must have a valid forklift license and certification.
* Must be computer proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel.
* Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
* Must be able to drive a company truck that has been properly insured for the last 3 years or more.
* Must comply with the rules and regulations of the company.
Responsibilities: * Instruct on the use of our forklifts in the field, including safety training and proper equipment usage.
* Coordinate training with Operations Manager, Human Resources, and Staffing Agencies.
* Maintain training records.
* Conduct Behavior Based Safety and Power Industrial Truck audits daily.
* Support operations when required.
* Maintain a clean and organized area, including all equipment, materials, and supplies needed for each shift.
* Test new team members on safe driving skills and interlocking modules.
* Train new team members on production manufacturing lines and warehouse operations when applicable.
* Support the company's safety program (audits, observations, etc.
) Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $17.
