Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s Assembly Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Engineer – Production
The primary responsibility of this role is to lead and manage the implementation of projects, track and manage KPI, and support continuous improvement of the Assembly department.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the person in this role will support the Assembly Department’s Hoshin objective.
What you’ll be doing
Track and Manage KPIs, Develop and Implement Safety and Ergonomic Improvements for mass production and model changes, track and evaluate problems, and quickly countermeasure, process kaizens, and workflow improvements.
Lead, manage, and implement process improvements and automation projects.
Lead and develop strategies for automation projects and budget each FY
Lead and manage automation activities for the engineering group including but not limited to safety, quality, productivity, and cost for the project.
What you bring
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
Manufacturing Engineering Experience
Highly Motivated Self Driven Learners
Co-op Experience
Added bonus if you have
Coordination with multiple departments, Safety, Quality, Accounting and Finance, Production and Maintenance among others
Coordination with shops on change point controls
Experience with managing projects to an existing budget
Tooling programming experience
