Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s Final Assembly Production Engineering Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Assembly Engineer.
The primary responsibility of this role is to support in development and implementation of new model preparation at NAMC sites to include vehicle testing systems.
Reporting to the Assembly Engineering Manager the person in this role will support the Production Engineering Assembly department's objective to study vehicle changes & execute future model activities across NAMCs.
What you’ll be doing
(30%) Project Planning for upcoming model changes
(30%) Simultaneous Engineering for assembly of vehicles with TMC & TTC
(40%) Project Management over process setup & equipment procurement at sites
Close collaboration between both internal and external groups across Toyota including NAMCs, TMC, TTC, PE support shops, & Plano divisions
What you bring
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology or Information Technology
Work experience in manufacturing or information fields
MS SQL Server experience and JavaScript understanding
Microsoft Office proficiency, PowerBI familiarity
Ability to travel up to 30% to all NAMs as well as Japan as needed
Added bonus if you have
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
Experience in new product introduction
AutoCAD working experience
