Responsibilities
Work with Sales and Operations to plan, develop, manage forecast, and establish production schedules to meet customer demands
Address scheduling issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption.
Prepare and submit status updates to supervisors and managers as necessary.
Work with Customer Service/Sales answering inquiries and commitment requests.
Print Manufacturing Orders.
Review the work orders to ensure that all raw material and equipment is available to run orders.
Ensure production schedule is put together for the Production lines, adding or re-arranging as needed
Collaborate with multiple departments including quality control, warehouse, supply chain, and other staff as needed
Review each order and determine if the sequencing is correct based on all of the orders scheduled.
Any orders that should be reassigned to other lines based on machine capabilities as well as efficiencies
Plan and order production supplies as needed
Performs day-to-day purchasing activities including, purchase orders, data maintenance, and inventory management of assigned components to meet facilities production schedules.
Track shipping progress of raw material/parts to ensure time schedules and delivery are met, while informing appropriate personnel of issues.
Expedite production of parts as required.
Responsible for system data integrity when it comes to adjustment entries.
Assist in reconciling procurement match errors for correct pricing and proper receipts.
Manages supplier/vendor relations; responsible for addressing and problem-solving purchasing/supply chain issues.
Cooperates and communicates with other disciplines within company.
Handles the acknowledgement of materials and maintenance of purchasing records.
Complete special projects and assignments as requested

Requirements:
The Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following:
Minimum of Associate's Degree in business, logistics, inventory management, or a related field.
2 years of purchasing/supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment or relevant field/position.
Familiarity with popular Inventory Control Methodology
Experience with an advanced ERP/MRP systems
Advanced Microsoft Office and Computer Skills, especially Excel
Logistics Experience: International Shipments and basic understanding of required paperwork
APICS certification
