Estimator

```Job Summary``` We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team.
The Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project specifications and blueprints, preparing accurate cost estimates, and collaborating with project managers and subcontractors.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing estimating and project management.
```Responsibilities``` - Review project specifications, drawings, and blueprints to understand scope of work - Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment - Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules and budgets - Identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings - Obtain quotes from subcontractors and suppliers - Negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers - Prepare bid packages and submit proposals to clients - Track project costs and provide regular updates to project team - Assist in value engineering efforts to optimize project costs ```Requirements``` - Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred) - Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry - Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles and techniques - Proficiency in using estimating software such as HeavyBid - Familiarity with project management software - Excellent mathematical and analytical skills - Strong attention to detail - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications - Excellent communication and negotiation skills Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
