*CNC Programming and Production Manager* SET is seeking a highly motivated individual to take ownership of the responsibilities of the position.
One who formulates overall strategy, managing people, process and procedures, the Engineering Manager must be a confident decision maker with strong knowledge of CNC machining and Programming.
Analytical ability, problem solving and leadership skills.
Must have the ability to manage and set expectations while learning operations of the Aluminum Extrusion Die manufacturing process and workflow.
*Responsibilities:* Directs day to day operations of all CNC Departments, working closely with operators on the shop floor.
Taking a hands-on approach and maintaining a constant presence on the plant floor.
Preferred attributes of a strong understanding of the feeds, speeds and optimization of manufacturing with CNC Mills and Lathes.
Ability to optimize programming improvements to ensure machine times are controlled and efficient.
Ability to manage highly experienced machinist and programmers, respecting the job they are responsible to accomplish and assertively motivate and retain employees to achieve greater improvements in production and quality.
Manages the overall health and safety of employees, ensuring compliance with company policy and OSHA regulations.
Drives quality in process, procedures, and product manufacturing.
Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and company quality compliance.
Maintaining the standard.
Scheduling all aspects of product manufacturing through the department to ensure on time delivery to our customers.
Strong, assertive management style, confident, able to set the standard throughout the Department and follow-up skills to ensure continuous communications to improve Managing reports, Department Supervisors and operators and programmers in accountability regarding production and process standards, on time delivery and Quality products.
Setting the pace and sense of urgency for Supervisors, and employees.
Recognize and manage maintenance, repairs and preventative maintenance issues of equipment to ensure on time functions for the department.
Guide Supervisors in employee retention and aid HR in employee selection.
Ensures standards to drive techniques for continuous improvement, performance which includes cost reduction initiatives.
Control and minimize labor cost and overtime by maintaining on time delivery and quality of product to internal customers.
Budget responsibilities include all aspects of department operations, waste, disposables replacement, and repair expenses including preventive maintenance programs.
Performs other duties as required.
*Qualifications:* Minimum of 2 years of hands on experience in overall CNC manufacturing Management operations.
General understanding of business operation, Finance and HR.
Strong communication skills in problem solving, decision making with the ability to motivate others.
