Vice President of Manufacturing
SET is seeking a highly motivated individual to take ownership of the responsibilities of the position.
One who formulates overall strategy, managing people, process and procedures, the VP of Manufacturing must be a confident decision maker with strong analytical ability, problem solving and leadership skills.
Must have the ability to manage and set expectations while learning operations of the Aluminum Extrusion Die manufacturing process and workflow.
*Responsibilities:*
Directs day to day operations of all manufacturing facilities.
Taking a hands-on approach and maintaining a high visibility presence on the plant floor.
The candidate will take ownership of all department operations and ensure successful on time delivery.

Preferred attributes of a strong understanding of the High Mix, Low volume manufacturing business model.
Ability to manage highly experienced machinist, respecting the job they are responsible to accomplish and assertively motivate to greater improvements in production and quality.
Manages the overall health and safety at all Company Facilities ensuring compliance with company policy and OSHA regulations.
Drives quality in process, procedures, and product manufacturing.
Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and company quality compliance.
Maintaining the standard.
Scheduling all aspects of product manufacturing to ensure on time delivery to our customers.
Strong, assertive management style, confident, able to set the standard throughout the facilities and follow-up skills to ensure continuous communications to improve
Managing reports, Plant Manager, Plant Management and Department Supervisors, in accountability regarding production and process standards, on time delivery and Quality products .
Setting the pace and sense of urgency for Managers, Supervisors, and employees.
Management of freight costs and shipping for on time deliveries to meet customer demands and company goals in sales.
Manage maintenance, repairs and preventative maintenance of equipment and the physical plant to ensure on time functions for the facility.
Guide Managers and Supervisors in employee retention and selection.
Ensures standards to drive techniques for continuous improvement, plant performance which includes cost reduction initiatives.
Control and minimize labor cost and overtime by maintaining on time delivery and quality of product to internal customers.
Budget responsibilities include all aspects of plant operations, waste, disposables replacement, freight and repair expenses including preventive maintenance programs.
Performs other duties as required.
*Qualifications:*
Bachelor’s degree required.
Concentrations in Engineering/Management preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of hands on experience in overall manufacturing operations.
Knowledge of business operation, Finance and HR.
Strong communication skills in problem solving, decision making with the ability to motivate others.
