*Manufacturing Manager*
Follows overall strategy dictated by Principles, managing people, a confident manager with strong ability to meet delivery deadlines and maintain company policies in conduct and procedures.
SET is seeking an individual who is dedicated, self-motivated, and takes ownership of the leadership role.
This individual will direct, train and follow-up with managers and supervisors to ensure a quality products, on time delivery, and customer satisfaction in being exceeded in every aspect of manufacturing.
*Responsibilities:*
Day to day operations of the manufacturing facility.
Taking a hands-on approach on the plant floor, working side by side with Plant Management.
Manages the overall health and safety, quality, scheduling, production, shipping, maintenance, engineering and on time functions for the facility.
Ensures current standards to drive techniques for continuous improvement, plant performance which includes cost reduction initiatives.
Control and minimize labor cost, overtime, freight cost and repair expenses including preventive maintenance programs.
We are a 24/7 operation, the Manufacturing Manager will work across all shifts to ensure best management practices are maintained and get to know employees working all positions and shifts.
Coordinate with Corporate management and advise on labor issues and ensure that managers and supervisors are adhering to company policy.
Demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively in cross-functional areas with multiple programs.
Performs other duties as required.
*Qualifications:*
Bachelor’s degree is a plus
Minimum of 5-10 years of hands on experience in manufacturing operations.
Knowledge of business operation, adhering to budget and current production and process standards.
Strong communication skills in problem solving, decision making with the ability to motivate others.
OSHA and DOL compliance a must.
