Injection Molding Technician

*Injection Molding Technician* *\*\*\*Signing Bonus $1,000\*\*\** *Job Overview:* As an Injection Molding Technician, the candidate will perform actions needed to maintain the workflow in the shop, ensuring product quality, quantity and running the operation with safety.
The successful candidate will perform setups and startups of production machines and molds, following the first piece approval process.
The candidate will also be responsible for troubleshooting the manufacturing processes and secondary production operations.
*Essential Duties & Responsibilities:* · Monitor production to ensure product specifications and established quality standards are maintained.
· Perform essential duties of machine operator.
· Evaluate and monitor production lines and tooling modifications and repairs.
· Audit products during production runs to ensure adherence to quality standards such as dimensions and Aesthetics.
· Assist with setup of machines and equipment, and with material and die/mold changes.
· Manage and control molds to receive preventive maintenance to minimize down time.
· Keep molds and storage areas clean, organized and ensure all molds have i.

tags, part numbers and part descriptions on them.
· Work with Quality Control department to prevent nonconforming products.
· Promote and perform housekeeping duties as assigned by manager.
*Job Skills and Requirements:* · Qualified applicants must have a minimum of 3-5 yrs.
experience in plastic injection molding.
· Molding experience with poly carbonate and ABS is required.
Regrind is preferred.
· Ability to perform mold changes and production set ups.
· Ability to lift, up to 50 lb.

· Able to Operate forklift and perform all forklift operation requirements.
· Qualified applicants must have 3 – 5 years manufacturing experience.
