Shift: Night Shift - 5:30 p.
m.
- 4:00 a.
m.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inspections on machines, equipment, and vehicles
Perform routine preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and vehicles
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic devices
Troubleshoot and repair various pumps
Respond to trouble calls while the production line is running
Complete repairs and projects with minimal supervision
Assist senior maintenance personnel with complex and/or large projects
Complete and maintain the proper documentation associated with maintenance and repairs
Follow company safety policies and attend safety training meetings
Qualifications
5 years as a Maintenance Mechanic or Electrician in an lean manufacturing environment
Electrical background and knowledge of AC/DC circuitry
Ability to read electrical schematics
Ability to read hydraulic/pneumatic schematics
Power and hand tools, forklifts, cranes, man-lifts, micrometers, tape measures, welding equipment, forms, and records
Knowledge of lock out tag out procedures and potential energy isolation process
Familiarity with single phase and three phase electrical system
Ability to use cutting torch and perform light welding
Ability to read tape measure and micrometer
Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
High School Diploma/Equivalent
Strong mechanical background
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
Ability to precisely follow instructions
Must be able to perform detailed inspections
Intermediate Microsoft Office
Must know CMMS software (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
Before initiating work at Cornerstone Building Brands, the employee is required to read and understand the position’s Job Safety Analysis.
The employee must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and perform tasks in a manner consistent with Cornerstone Building Brands safety training, Cornerstone Building Brands Manual, and OSHA
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
