*Job Description*
The production winder operates and troubleshoots equipment, prepares materials for production, and selects the appropriate materials based on the production schedule.
*Duties and Responsibilities*
* Operating machine tool, chemical processing, assembly, or packaging equipment to manufacture products according to production specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards
* Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods
* Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products
* Maintaining accurate daily production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis
* Other duties as assigned
*Qualifications*
* High school diploma; or 1-2 years vocational training/associate degree
*Working Conditions*
Indoor dusty, non-temperature controlled industrial manufacturing and warehouse environment.
Subject to varying cold and hot temperatures and occasional outdoor activities in hot or adverse weather.
*Physical Requirements*
* Ability to lift 50 pounds including use of lifting assistance devices
* Ability to stand for extended period of time
* Ability to kneel, bend, reach and stoop, twist, squat, and kneel as required
* Ability to operate mobile equipment as required
