As a Utility/Janitor, you would be responsible for keeping work areas in office and production in clean and orderly condition.
*What this work looks like:* * *Transport raw materials and semifinished products or supplies between departments to supply machine tenders or operators with materials for processing* * *Cleans lint, dust, oil, and grease from machine areas and overhead pipes* * *Cleans floors and uses floor scrubber at regular* * *Picks up reusable scrap (steel chips) for salvage and puts in appropriate scrap bins* * *Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, breakrooms, restrooms, and any other working areas* * *Wash walls and ceilings in manufacturing area as necessary* * *Empties wastebasket and garbage* * *Transport trash and waste to appropriate disposal area* * *Replenish bathroom supplies, replace light bulbs in facility as needed* * *Perform basic ground keeping activities in the spring, summer, and fall months* * *Operate forklift as necessary* *Skills needed to win:* * *High School Diploma or GED* * *Motor coordination, manual & finger dexterity* * *Industrial Truck Permit* * *Ability to read and interpret documents* * *Ability to interpret a variety of instructions (written, oral, diagram, etc)* *Did you know?* MSCED is a leading supplier of aluminum extrusion tooling.
