Fitter/Fabricator

```Duties``` - Read and interpret blueprints to determine specifications and requirements -Able to read a tape measure - Use power tools, such as grinders and saws, to cut and shape metal components - Operate press brake machine to bend and form metal sheets - Perform fitting and assembly of metal parts according to specifications - Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and precision of finished products - Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines - Maintain a clean and organized work area ```Qualifications``` - Previous experience as a Fitter or in a similar role preferred - Proficiency in FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) techniques - Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to read blueprints - Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes - Experience using power tools and machining equipment - Basic math skills for measurements and calculations - Ability to use calipers for precise measurements - Detail-oriented with a focus on quality craftsmanship - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
