JOB SUMMARY: To provide leadership and technical expertise in the support of Keytronic Management Systems and Quality Policy.
The methodology of support shall be defined as the application of statistical analysis, lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement activities.
The application of the methodology shall be in the role as practitioner, trainer and leader.

Interfacing with customers, manufacturing and management concerning quality requirements including preventive/corrective actions, new product support, process setup and containment actions.
Generate customer quality data reports and analyze date for trends to drive continual improvement.
Audit internal processes and maintain supplier ratings according to certifications and customer standards.
Generate documentation and provide support for programs and process changes including PPAP, control plans.
PFMEA, quality instructions etc.
Responsible for all phases of the corrective action process (CCAR, QCAR, VCAR, 8D, 7D, etc.
) and driving for root cause and adequate timely closure.
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
Attends meetings as needed to support organization activity.
Performs other duties, as assigned, to achieve corporate and departmental objectives.
May be asked to assist in other duties to ensure production needs are met in a timely manner.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Quality system management skills to support ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485, PPAP, PFMEA, 5S, 8D, SPC and control plans, lean manufacturing and other quality methods.
Strong verbal/written communications skills required.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, Power Point, AutoCAD.
Occasional domestic and international travel required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
BS Degree in Engineering and 3 to 5 years in work experience within a Contract Electronic Manufacturing environment driven to IPC-A-610 standards.
Lean six sigma Green or Black Belt certification with project experience

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
