*Production (Inventory) Control Specialist*
*SUMMARY:*
Analyze customer’s production forecast data and prepare materials for production team.
Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked; attains maximum levels of cost reductions, and customer service.
*DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Maintains shipping and receiving schedules.
* Determining the required materials and generating scheduling agreements for our suppliers.
* Tracking production volume monitoring customer demand patterns and purchasing trends.
* Liaising with customers, suppliers, and distributors.
* Managing inventory issues, schedules changes, and cancellation.
* Issues purchase and work orders to generate product shipments.
* Maintains status of orders through entire process.
* Maintains and oversees inventory and database.
* Accurately controls and tracks physical inventory.
*QUALIFICATIONS:*
* High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
* Production control related background related to parts ordering and inventory control.
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
* Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
* Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
* Acute attention to detail.
* Proficient on Excel, Word, Data Entry and Outlook.
* Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
* Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
* Experience in Automotive manufacturing environment is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.
00 - $60,000.
