_*SUMMARY*_:
Supports all production and facility equipment during normal operation, performs preventive maintenance on all equipment, and maintains facility in top condition.
_*DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*_:
* Routinely inspects and maintains production equipment.
* Performs minor and routine repairs including but not limited to painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities.
* Assists with the installation and modification of building or production equipment systems, if needed.
* Creates and maintains up-to-date service and replacement data files production related equipment.
* Performs routine preventive maintenance on equipment.
* Creates and maintains preventive maintenance files.
* Ensures PMs are performed at designated intervals.
* Assist with procurement of service contracts/repair work; assists with purchase of many facility fixtures and equipment.
* Responds in a timely fashion to problems related to facility maintenance and repair.
* Implements corrective actions when equipment issues occur.
* Makes recommendations to upgrade maintenance operations and/or implement savings opportunities.
* Inspects production related equipment of unsafe or malfunctioning conditions.
* Maintains a clean, safe working environment.
* Possesses and maintains a high level of competency and efficiency in all aspects of maintenance operations.
* Prepares required reports and correspondence.
* Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
* Orders and maintain spare parts for equipment.
* Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
_*QUALIFICATIONS:*_
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Three years' experience in a maintenance position, preferably in an automotive related environment.
* Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and industry.
* Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
* Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
* Demonstrates ability to plan and organize projects.
* Ability to work independently.
* Proficient on Excel, Word and Outlook.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
* Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance.
* Ability to understand any and all safety requirements and cautions.
* Ability to perform the physical labor necessary.
* Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
* Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
* MS Access experience.
* Programmable Logic Control (PLC) experience.
_*PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:*_
* Lift and carry up to and above 50 pounds.

_*WORK ENVIRONMENT:*_
A large percentage of time is spent in a warehouse where temperatures are cold in the winter and hot in the summer and noise levels are moderate.
