IITT Engineered Valves is actively seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team at our Engineered Valves facility in Amory, Mississippi.

Essential Responsibilities: Responsible for supporting all manufacturing operations, including plasma cutting, machining, grinding, welding, painting, assembly, and pressure testing.
Responsible for developing standard processes and times for manufacturing operations.
Responsible for improving machine reliability, processes and cost reduction.
Supports manufacturing in the troubleshooting of process and programming issues.
Develops and updates CNC programs as required.
Suggests drawing changes/corrections in collaboration with R&D and production Supports resolving quality problems in collaboration with the Quality Assurance Department.
Support for project and process development of new parts or design changes as well as statistical planning during part development phase.
Create concepts for design for fixturing tooling, gauging, interface with 3rd part on actual design Investigation and design proposals for improving equipment performance and obtains data for development, standardization, and quality control.
Estimation of production times and related costs to provide information for management decisions.
Communication with management, engineering, and other departments regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
Planning and improvement of production results in regard to safety, quality, and scrap.
Supports training of machine operators/process technicians in process and machine operation.
Investigation and development of new production processes, quality inspection plans, work instructions and set-up standards.
Assumes additional related responsibilities as needed.
Prepares charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate workflow, routings, material handling, and operating/process methods analysis.
Interact, input data, review, analyze and perform maintenance duties involving SAP, BPCS and Logia systems including the config path, logia decoding and associated drawing verification/filing.
Use the rated time study or similar methods to observe manufacturing personnel operating equipment or performing task in order to establish production rates/quotas, setup times and PF&D allowances.
Apply mathematical analysis to determine validity and reliability of sampling and work-study.
Evaluate processing/manufacturing methods, material handling systems, equipment layouts and other associated manufacturing process/equipment in order to recommend and/or implement changes to improve manufacturing productivity.
Position Requirements: 2-4 year college degree, preferably in engineering, manufacturing or related discipline is preferred 1-3 years’ experience with MasterCAM programming.
Will consider candidates with at the machine programming and some exposure to CAM software 1-3 years of related experience with CNC equipment (lathes and/or 3-4 axis mills) machine tools, machining processes, and materials (titanium, cast iron, ductile iron, bronze, brass Inconel etc).
Must have a solid understanding of GD&T Must be able to work out concepts for fixtures and tooling design and advise third party on how to design #LI-SS2 Equal Pay Act Statement: We aim to pay our ‘ITT’ers’ fairly and competitively in the locations that they live and work.

Equal Pay Act Range: $67,200.
