Pay Type: Exempt / Salary paid Twice Per Month Annual Salary Pay: $60,000 - $65,000 per year based on experience Schedule: Monday through Friday 2:00 pm – 11:00 pm.

Mainly responsible for the leadership of direct reports as well as the attainment of daily operational goals within his/her assigned functional area.
The Driver / Yard Manager will work on site and be responsible for all yard activities.
Working hand in hand with senior management & our client to manage on site activities which involve oversight of a shunting/switching/local shuttle service to ensure routes are completed as required to ensure 100% on-time delivery to the assembly line.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
Essential Functions Ensure Safety compliance of drivers and equipment Conduct regular safety audits Give safety talks on a daily/weekly/as needed basis Supervise yard goat/shuttle truck drivers and ensure all team members comply with all safety procedures Monitor all inbound and outbound shipments, including return items from the customer (carts, dollies, returnable racks/containers, etc.
) Coordinate with operations teams to maintain smooth flow of goods in and out of the facility and to the customer, ensuring timely delivery of parts to facilitate continual achievement of the customer's build requirements Maintain accurate inventory records of all goods stored in the yard Customer service satisfaction and expectation management Staffing performance management and development of exempt and non-exempt employees Manage day-to-day planning and scheduling Health and Safety Management State/Local/Federal regulations compliance Additional Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities Ability to work within international functional teams High level analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult Demonstrated technical and professional skills in job-related area Off shift support in the event of critical customer network disruption or crisis Makes decisions in a timely manner Strong oral and written communications skills Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors) Ability to work independently and as a member of a team Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) is required advanced required Logistics industry knowledge advanced required Knowledge and understanding of Customer/Company local and Federal regulations advanced required Fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain Management components intermediate required Strong knowledge of Manufacturing and Production advanced required Qualifications H.
