Listerhill Credit Union is a financial cooperative whose primary purpose is to help our members live financially healthy lives.
In 1952, seven Reynolds Metals employees deposited $5 each with the idea of starting a credit union that was member-owned and member-focused.
Helping co-workers break from predatory lenders to borrow affordably and save for their financial futures was their motivation.
We have grown from a single office at Reynolds Metals to multiple branches in multiple counties throughout northwest Alabama and south-central Tennessee with a full line of financial solutions.

As VP of Project Management, you will be responsible for the development of and continued maturity of the project management discipline throughout the credit union.
You will work towards this goal leading by example and by developing the tools needed for others within the organization to learn and understand this discipline, while coaching them for success.
You will also be integral to the success of LCU achieving its strategic goals, working closely with, and supporting those leading the development of other disciplines.
What you will do:
Apply a process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the steps required for successful project management throughout the organization
Coaches and supports business unit owners in the project initiative, proposal, and planning stages of project management
Develop and lead project management implementation
Oversees and coaches project managers through implementation
Define and measure success metrics and monitor project progress in accordance with the project plan
Provide project portfolio analysis regarding budget, schedule, and resource management
Ensure roles within projects are understood and assigned by the appropriate project sponsor
Integrate project management activities into change plans
Support process and change management disciplines being followed throughout projects
Work effectively with all levels of the organization
Support and involve the Senior Leadership Team on project management at the organizational level
Build project management capability by providing opportunities for project management knowledge transfer through training and development of others
Consult and coach others for success in project management to support organization wide maturity in the discipline
Support and exemplify all other disciplines committed to by LCU.
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Eight to ten years of experience, preferably with a financial institution, in project management, training/education, or management level duties
Bachelor’s degree in Business or a relevant field
Project Management certification or designation preferred
Future thinking and adapt to change easily
Strong communication skills, managerial skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to engage with and influence others, including senior leadership
Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job
Acute business acumen and understanding of organization issues and challenges
Strong communication skills, both written and verbally
Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation
Must successfully complete appropriate LCU assessments
