Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial accounting and reporting functions of the organization
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations
- Provide financial services to internal departments, including financial analysis and report writing
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory reporting requirements
- Perform journal entries and reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records
- Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process
- Manage a team of accounting clerks, providing guidance and support as needed
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Proven experience in financial accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of accounting principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for financial report writing
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Experience with regulatory reporting requirements
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide meaningful insights
