Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the Psychology Program, including planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Develop and maintain program policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in the field of behavioral health
- Provide leadership and supervision to the Psychology staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to enhance program services and resources
- Monitor program budget and financial resources to ensure effective utilization
- Collect and analyze data to measure program outcomes and identify areas for improvement
- Participate in meetings, conferences, and trainings related to the Psychology
Experience:
- Master's Degree in Psychology or a related field (e.
g.
, social work or counseling)
- Minimum of 5 - 6 years of experience in psychology or a related role and full licensure or certification (LPC, LMFT, LM/CSW, L/CMHT, L/CIDDT, L/CAT)
- Full licensure or certification (LPC, LMFT, LM/CSW, L/CMHT, L/CIDDT, L/CAT) or licensure as a Psychologist in Mississippi
- Strong knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
This is fourth level professional work involving providing psychotherapeutic interventions (individual, group, family therapy), developing intervention strategies, ensuring the implementation of strategies, and initiating treatment plans.
Under the direct supervision and oversight of an approximately licensed or certified Behavioral Heal professional, individuals in this classification also perform screening assessments of behavioral and emotional functioning, intelligence, achievement, and adaptive functioning.
