Actual rate of pay will be based on experience.
Oversee and coordinate personal care and services for residents
Monitors and supervises daily personal hygiene of residents and reports any changes in residents’ physical conditions to family and physician as appropriate
Communicates effectively on an ongoing basis with residents, families, management, staff, medical personnel, vendors, etc.
Coordinates move-in and move-out of residents
Hires, trains, schedules, and supervises care staff
Works closely with the director of food services to coordinate health care and food service needs
Assists with overall marketing
Functions as Executive Director’s designee in the absence of the Executive Director
Must be currently certified in CPR, or gain certification upon hire
Excellent verbal and written communication, including listening skills
Must have two years’ experience in geriatrics or equivalent
Familiar with gerontology and an overall view of health care delivery, including State regulations
Must have an overall “caring” personality and attitude
Must be able to lift 75 pounds unassisted and 125 pounds per person in a two-person lift
Must have valid driver’s license
