As a Utility Shipper/Shuttle Driver, you’ll be an important team member responsible for safely transporting product, performing all warehouse tasks, including receiving, shipping and, order filling while accurately processing material via RF scan guns in a safe and clean work environment.
What this work looks like:
Operate a truck to hookup and drop trailers.
Operate lift equipment to unload trailers and place material in proper locations via RF scanners.
Pick and prepare outgoing shipments.
Load trucks.
Count and maintain accurate inventory.
Education, Experience, and Qualifications:
Valid class A CDL license
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
50,000 of continuous safe driven miles required.
3 to 5 years of experience in related field preferred.
Positive and professional attitude
Available to work overtime as necessary
Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving required.
Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills required.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner at all times.
Ability to drive and properly operate a motor vehicle.
Ability to self-manage, prioritize, multi-task and work under deadlines.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position
Semi-moderate to moderate physical activity.
Including but not limited to sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, and crouching.
Ability to lift up to 75lbs.
